Peace Maker manga was in the shop!

...The rest of Prince of Tennis was not. >_> <_< As flies to wanton boys are we to the manga gods. To hell with it, though, I'm reading the fic come fire or high spoiler.

That is, as soon as I am able to mark a pause in my ear-steaming fangirl mania over Peace Maker. Dear, dear saints alive. It's just as well I didn't bother to set up phone post this afternoon, or you'd all be afflicted with my hyperventilations in real time, real sound. Or maybe all you'd hear is choking noises, as I run out of superlatives and am reduced to flapping.

I suspect I should get my act together and make some detailed fannish posts on this that and the other (I kind of regret not blogging all my crackpot impressions as I wended my way through the GB anime, y'see; so many st00pid Vagrant Story / Kenshin animation team jokes not saved for posterity), but aaaaarrrrgggghhhh. *flaps* I refuse to believe it's Kurono Nanae's first manga, period: no acolyte is this well-versed in the nittou ryu of Angst and Crack. *deep breathes* Right. Will go watch anime now.

She says the pigs are historical, so there.

Oh, P.S., other manga I got are Saiyuki Reload (so I can make sure I understand XD) and this other pwetty thing called Youko-Den. As in fox spirit. However, it is more precisely 妖狐伝義経千本桜。 Ohohohohohohoho~ *ojousama laughter trailing off into distance*

P.P.S. Is anyone I know currently reading a proper shounen manga that is universally acknowledged NOT to have teh ghei, either textually or subtextually? I need to recalibrate my brain. Thank you.

No she doesn't. It only gets more, uhh, intense. But the panelling is still so amazing even when the death and blood gets slightly overwhelming. I can't wait till you read all six volumes.

I want to hear your wankage then. Oh, the wankage *jumps up & down*

And, and, and when you finally gets your hands on volume 1& 2 of Kurogane... oh man, I want a full dissertion from you. With footnotes if possible.

See, it is getting harder and harder trying not to spoil everyone.

So here's a practical question then - where the heck is Kurogane running, if it's not Enix/GanGan anymore? Are the chances such that I should be pro-active about it, or trust it will show up near me in a Chinese version? ^^;

(Are you getting these in Chinese?)

(...Is it really her first manga?)

No need to be pro-active. Yet.

The first 6 volumes ends without -much- need for a sequel. One can happily stop there, but the second series provide much more fodder and much more angst (not enough explanation yet). And while I can't be 100% positive, I'm 99% positive you'll enjoy it.

Yes, I am getting Kurogane in Chinese. My Chinese might be bad, but I have my trsuty dictionary right next to me. Beside, I have much more hope at reading it in Chinese than Japanese ^^;;;

I have no idea. I keep on thinking she might be one of those people who do other works under a pseudoname. I mean most first manga isn't this complete. This pretty, this perfect. Then, I haven't come across any manga that is similar in artwork as hers.
