Actually we half-expected playing the file of episode 51 would cause a large black gate-thing to appear from the TV but it didn't happen ahaha we're still here and with the full complement of limbs. Ko...kowakatta. orz

Heh. I've been trying to figure out what it was.

Actually, my memory of 51 is turning off the TV, and going rather somberly to the supermarket by the train station. Mostly because I'd picked up on a certain (ah, how to phrase this non-spoilerishly for some...) tendancy in Al by then? I'd figured out what he was going to do in the next episode (and I was right XD) and was so working my way through that.

(I wasn't surprised by Ed's decision either, but I didn't see it forshadowed enough.)

Basically, there's that certain impulse (again, with the vague) that always seems to have me start to think about a series in a new light, mostly because I can't stand people who fall into that impulse. Yet it gets me engaged and thinking about things (see also: how Sasuke finally said something that got me interested in his character XD). Al's breakdown was a bit foreshadowed, and frustrating for me. Ed's reaction was a bit more reasonable, but even so....
