Look over there, it's Kabaji! *runs*
Jul. 8th, 2004 11:07 amDid I say I was going to post the fic requests on the seventh? Clearly I meant I'd start posting the fic requests on the seventh, ahaha. The fact is that between coding text and live piano house music played by a NYC funk band on an outdoor stage at the JazzFest, with a crowd dancing and whooping it up in the middle of the street, in warm summer rain - well, joycore wins out. So this morning I get up and am like, "quick, distract the flist with a diversion into unalloyed WTFness!"
To wit:
The Valentine Kiss Chocolate Files
1 - Kabaji
2 - Atobe
3 - Oshitari
4 - Atobe (again)
To pre-empt questions: yes, Kabaji is traumatising in this. Yes, I understand what they're saying. Yes, I think it's true, because it's way too wacky not to be true. Reverse psychology at work? Discuss, please.
In much less scary news:
Chara - Private Beach (A Scenery Like Me Version)
So you'd know. Much as I wub the OMD-like dreamy synthpop orchestration of the original track, I think most people would prefer this version. It brings out the fact that if anything, this song is melodically rather similiar to Bob Marley's "No Woman No Cry" - by no means a point in its disfavour. XD
