Did I say I was going to post the fic requests on the seventh? Clearly I meant I'd start posting the fic requests on the seventh, ahaha. The fact is that between coding text and live piano house music played by a NYC funk band on an outdoor stage at the JazzFest, with a crowd dancing and whooping it up in the middle of the street, in warm summer rain - well, joycore wins out. So this morning I get up and am like, "quick, distract the flist with a diversion into unalloyed WTFness!"

So you'd know. Much as I wub the OMD-like dreamy synthpop orchestration of the original track, I think most people would prefer this version. It brings out the fact that if anything, this song is melodically rather similiar to Bob Marley's "No Woman No Cry" - by no means a point in its disfavour. XD

Saints forbid I should feel impelled to speak up for you if you happen to be, say, a goodficcer of my personal acquaintance, of course; no, I'm dying over here because I want to defend Jean D.'s Princess Aya. Seriously. I'm just having trouble formulating a paragraph that contains enough five-syllable words ganked from lit theory to sate me.
