Look over there, it's Kabaji! *runs*
Jul. 8th, 2004 11:07 amDid I say I was going to post the fic requests on the seventh? Clearly I meant I'd start posting the fic requests on the seventh, ahaha. The fact is that between coding text and live piano house music played by a NYC funk band on an outdoor stage at the JazzFest, with a crowd dancing and whooping it up in the middle of the street, in warm summer rain - well, joycore wins out. So this morning I get up and am like, "quick, distract the flist with a diversion into unalloyed WTFness!"
To wit:
The Valentine Kiss Chocolate Files
1 - Kabaji
2 - Atobe
3 - Oshitari
4 - Atobe (again)
To pre-empt questions: yes, Kabaji is traumatising in this. Yes, I understand what they're saying. Yes, I think it's true, because it's way too wacky not to be true. Reverse psychology at work? Discuss, please.
In much less scary news:
Chara - Private Beach (A Scenery Like Me Version)
So you'd know. Much as I wub the OMD-like dreamy synthpop orchestration of the original track, I think most people would prefer this version. It brings out the fact that if anything, this song is melodically rather similiar to Bob Marley's "No Woman No Cry" - by no means a point in its disfavour. XD

Date: 2004-07-14 09:21 am (UTC)Sorry to be a bother, but, uh... is there something weird about the VK files? o.o I mean, I'm on a dial-up that's been cranky and regularly subjecting me to 500 BYTE per second download speeds, but when I was getting the VK files, the d/l speed hit 52kb/s andSLOWLYtrickled back down. I grabbed a 4mb file in less than 4 minutes. On a DIAL-UP. And now I'm looking at the files I got and they're all 4.12mb in size and 3min in length (but at least they have different track numbers?), which is making me really nervous and I'm scared to play them. o.o
Snagging the Chara now, which is giving me a semi-normal (meaning the connection's not being too bitchy, that is consistently 4+kb/sec) d/l speed. Am so so confused. >.<
<hopes she doesn't have some unidentified virus>

Date: 2004-07-14 10:37 am (UTC)Ooh, good. <relieved>l And I didn't actually realize they were voice messages, but that's good, since I tried to play Kabaji's and got silence and was v. slightly freaked out, but that would explain it. XD
Thanks again! ^_____^
