30 days of fanfiction meme

1 – How did you first get into writing fanfic, and what was the first fandom you wrote for? What do you think it was about that fandom that pulled you in?
...I already wrote about this one here. Yes, I still have the original copies of all this stuff. No, you can't see them. I usually start counting from Gundam Wing anyway, since the Anne Ricers didn't say "fanfic" any more than Miss Taddeo did.
2 – Name the fandoms you've written in, and how much you've written in that fandom, and if you still write in it.
Well, let's see:
Vampire Chronicles, 2 (3, actually... one in French, one poem, one award for Best Mary Sue of 1998. No reason why the conceit of that one couldn't be recouped for origfic.)
Gundam Wing, 3
Yuu Yuu Hakusho, 1
Zetsuai, 1
Fushigi Yuugi, 2 (and the massive crossover)
FF7 incl. Advent Children, 4
Weiss Kreuz, 6 (and the other crossover)
Vagrant Story, 2 (neither of which is complete)
Initial D, 2
Gravitation, 2 (and a very dark one I never completed or posted)
GetBackers, 8
Hikaru no Go, 6
Harry Potter, 3
Juuni Kokki, 2
Prince of Tennis, 10
Mirage of Blaze, 11 (counting the 31 Days fic as disparate, which they are)
Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, 3
Bleach, 10
Ghost in the Shell, 2
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, 9
Viewfinder, 5
...and all the other one-shot drabbles, can't be bothered to list them, honestly... XD;
Then the AO3 stories: Black Lagoon 1, Sherlock/Doctor Who 1, William Gibson...
Of all this, I would still write for JoJo, and anything more recent than that is probably fair game; I refuse to write more Viewfinder, but that's a matter of policy. XD;
It is Tanabata this week, though, so what the heck: OPEN DRABBLE REQUESTS. However. If we have not had a reasonably detailed conversation about the canon since ~2008, you can assume I do not remember enough about the canon to write it. That is the sad extent to which I brain these days. You can request canons/pairings/etc. I haven't written before, but be specific with what you want in that case. XD

Date: 2011-07-08 06:26 pm (UTC)I actually started planning a version of the Irene Adler story, but there is no way I'd be able to finish writing it before MoffatGatiss come out with theirs, and it'd just be dooming myself to disappointment. XD There's not much other ppl can do to upstage your own, if you know what I mean, unless they go all out and cast PJ Harvey or something.
