Efffff missed it. Starting to think Kaputt is the record I'd send people who want to get into Bejar's music. How is he even working in all this energetic sax and synth without being overly cheeky. The 80s treatment on the title track etc. is what the lesser stuff on Streethawk should have gotten ;A; (but the better stuff on Streethawk is still better imo)

I think that's the consensus on Kaputt, with good reason - it's the same stuff but with this pretty Belle and Sebastian, The Real Tuesday Weld wrapping paper about it all of a sudden. XD;

Hilariously some dude ACTUALLY CALLED IN (this never happens) and was garbled on the line so I couldn't get his message, but apparently he was greatly enjoying "Blue Eyes", or maybe "The Music Lovers", and wanted it dedicated to his girlfriend.
