Why not, if you have ready access? XD; You might like the Elenium as it's got Sparhawk in but the earliest books of the Belgariad are the best-written (or rather -edited - o for the days before fantasy novel bloat syndrome).

Oh god. That makes me really sad. I loved the Belgariad and the Mallorean and all their accompanying extras very, very much when I was in junior high.
