On SBR and video game crossovers

1) I have just discovered by reading the singles charts on Wikipedia that "Otoko no Sekai (Mandom: The Lovers of the World)" is a song, by country singer Jerry Wallace (but released in Japan only). It was the theme of a TV ad starring Charles Bronson and went to Oricon #1 in 1970. P2P searches are left as an exercise for the reader.

I'm backlogged by 3-4 chapters though I've kept up with spoilers. My problem is I just want it to be the endgame, now. XD; I mean, the way I see it, options for the last boss of this series come down to:

A) The President of the United States
B) The Second Coming of Christ
C) The President of the United States absorbs the parts of the Corpus Christi, grows six wings and the Spear of Longinus, and we have to defeat him standing on the torch of the Statue of Liberty while he buzzes around annoyingly in circles. Luckily, both Johnny and Gyro have long-range projectile weapons.

I would be lying if I said C) were not my favorite option. And no, I don't think it's going to be Diego - structurally speaking Diego is basically, yanno, Seifer.

2) I see people going back and forth with this, and I just want to say: why not streamline and go for the FFXII/Phoenix Wright crossover? No jury trials in Archades either amirite.

3) It fell out sororial unit is reading Vlad Taltos, and I'm reading Amber. Halfway through the second book, I'll have more constructive comments to make but first of all, DOES THIS REMIND ANYONE ELSE OF KATAMARI DAMACY? With the King, and all the little princes, and the running and running and shifting Stuff around until you get a whole new world to play with okay please tell me I'm not the first person in the universe to think this.

Heh, I don't even know your sister, but she has good taste in video games. (meaning, I second her suggestion). Plus! DS lite has all these weird games for older folks, like cooking games and trivia quizzes, language learning quizzes, etc.

I think, though, that we are quite a ways away from the endgame? Normally you can tell the endgame coming up by enough major deaths, but this being essentially a two-person team, that's skewed. But also there is simply no need to tell, because it's like a sports manga in that all you need to do is look at the chart to see where we are in the tournament. But, he needs to give the Prez more screentime if he's going to be a credible Jojo villain. So far he's simply shown competence in choosing vassals, but although that puts him ahead most supervillains, he's not really quite up to the standard of Jojo villainy yet? Despite the trick with the can (as we all know, being able to do stupid human tricks at parties is part of the role.)

I'm seriously considering the DS lite, though it's not like we use the PS2 all that much. XD

We are still quite a whiles off, but I'm not sure we'll be learning anything much new from here on out. :P (Unless it does turn out that Diego was involved in Nicholas' death, or Hot Pants is actually the reincarnation of Joan of Arc working as an Opus Dei secret agent, or something...)

Yes, it is a useful little machine, and with a lot of interesting programs/games coming out. I've only been actively using mine for a few days, but so far give it a thumbs up.

Yeah, that's the problem with following an ongoing series. So much waiting. It's why right now I kind of am gravitating towards manga that are finished or at least nearer to the end.

I'm still not certain that a new boss will not appear randomly! I mean, this is Jojo, Araki may have forgotten he needs a REAL end boss and either introduce one or evil up Diego (although I love that Seifer analogy, lololol, but does that make Gyro into Zell/Irvine? And Hot Pants is like... Quistis? And Lucy... okay, I need to stop). After all, in part 4 I kind of think Araki forgot that he needed a bad guy for a while, although he did get around to introducing Kira after a few books had gone by.

XD (Well, at the beginning Johnny was all :OOOO because Gyro was so cool, but lately he's like >_>; whenever Gyro gets all crazy. XD In the latest chapter, his expression when Gyro was all yelling out to the old guy was SO "sigh, why do I like him? oh well, I'll just pretend I'm not here." Dude, I was reading the recent tankobans of SBR and Araki's version of Shadow!Jesus-sama is HOT. If he turns out to be the villain, which I don't know if it's at all plausible, considering his usual pattern of showing villains that'd be hot.
