Like the album much more than I expected, but then again I was not particularly hyped. XD What I learnt from this was that Basement Jaxx now vaguely reminds me of JoJo part 6 (something about the sense of manic yet controlled chaos). I assume this is jokersama's fault for putting "Romeo" on her FST.

Basement Jaxx - Hush Boy: the single. This is, like, what happened later to that couple from "Oh My Gosh". XD

Basement Jaxx - Take Me Back To Your House: Daft Punk is playing in MY BARN. (Refrained from poor pun on 'country house', after The Knife's 'haunted house' the strategy shows signs of spiralling out of control. Besides I swear Bran Van 3000 tried this in the late 90s, but don't let that stop you!)

Speaking of music that reminds me of JoJo part 6, I like to think Araki came up with all that NASA nonsense by listening to this.

also: I think my insane love of Kish Kash kind of burnt me out on Jaxx, 'Lights go Down' is the only one of the new tracks that's clicked so far. However, going back and reading the Kish Kash ILM thread == love.

I heard! Lance Bass came out, and... Darren Hayes is married. Thus the world (r)evolves. XD

I have been listening to the beginning of that album over and over - "To The Moon And Back", "I Want You", "Truly Madly Deeply" - thinking it was pop genius after all and wanting remixes like woah. I would remix them myself if I were able, I mean, there're all these tiny moments in the production, bass hooks and background melodies waiting to be teased out. Booka should take on this task XD

P.S. Duso is not electrohouse! But if I had to find it a vocal I'd look in UA's back catalogue. XD

yayyy, you received it! it took all of my control not to spam GLEE I SENT YOU SOMETHING all week. ;_; I saw the soapdish last winter and immediately bought it out of !!! and the hand towel came soon after; it was when you made a ton of your bathroom reviews. (and! nemo! how could I resist when I know how much you like that movie. *g*) I've meant to send the two items since mid-december and have procrastinated until now. :Dv LOVE NEVER EXPIRES, OK.
