petroniaQuickly: went to Tania's uhhh harem-themed Valentine's Day party. Supped mostly on chocolate and fruit while taking photos that I suspect will come out like those amusingly theatrical 1910s naughty French postcard sets, or rather the first not-so-naughty one in each series before the outfits come off (Talal was thinking something along the same lines, as he suggested applying a sepia-tone filter in Photoshop). Am not an avid consumer of chocolates or fruit but sugar every once in a while is all right... canis_m and Trinity Blood novels from re_miel, both of which set new standards in awesomeness of packaging. XD I have to read the latter so I can lord it over Livejournal when the anime comes out this spring, or something; if the animation lives up to even 50% of the cover artwork it should be worth the Bittorrent time.
(I think this is obvious but I suppose I should make a formal note of it: I'm taking a mental health break from Mirage of Blaze. ^^;v Will continue reading it once the mere thought of doing so no longer suffices to plunge me into an abyss of gloom.)
The Pixies gig came up in conversation with Justin, which reminded me that I still haven't written a report for it(!), when I'm going to see Kings of Convenience tomorrow. I guess my problem is I don't know what to say about a band like Pixies, other than "it was amazing and I cannot believe I was insane enough to set foot in that mosh pit or lucky enough to survive unscathed." Maybe I'll complain about what an astonishingly shite venue CEPSUM is; that should be good for a paragraph or two. XD
(P.S. Home computer count after a fresh scan of the folder is 59.53 GB, 12418 songs, 37 days 9 hours 47 minutes. Though that also includes things like RajiPuri episodes and Neil Gaiman readings, albeit not BL drama CDs. *crawls off*)
