Happy Chinese New Year!

It's the year of the Wood Rooster, or as tarot.com informs me, the Green Hen (progenitress no doubt of the ill-fated green eggs that are so tasty with green ham). Am in a good mood because it means I get the day off tomorrow. An opportunity to put in a couple more hours sleep, get some writing done, maybe go out shopping if the temperatures aren't too bad - it's been unseasonably mild for a couple of days and all the snow is melted - no new snowfall in the last month to begin with - leaving the city in a bedraggled state it more commonly attains in late March, covered with a winter's worth of dog poop and dead leaves and road gravel - and there's a smog alert on top of it all. ...Perhaps I'd better stay in and read Murakami. ^^; I'm on chapter 13, the entirety of which consists of a translation of the Beach Boys' "California Girls".

Either that or manga. Plowed through two more volumes of Love Mode after dinner tonight. UST tolerance is like alcohol tolerance, apparently, it increases with use and abuse. I must be at the is-this-really-vodka-or-is-it-water stage now, because I find myself surprised and pleased when relationships are consummated in my reading matter at all. As with alcohol the implications of this are somewhat disturbing.

I keep wanting to do a round-up post on all the BL manga I read (buy, download, crib from other people...), but I'm not feeling articulate enough tonight.

You really should write those 5 questions (it's down to 5, because Felix took Literature - and he wrote about Tintin). I haven't slept in 26 hours now because of poxviruses, and if you aren't sending those questions to Felix by tonight, it means I'll be writing 5 jpop questions. I don't care anymore.
