So this is a translation. >_> <_< It's... more an artistic project than a let-the-fandom-know-what's-happening project per se, if that makes sense, though what I think I'm trying to accomplish is give a sense in English of what it's like to read these books. Flavour of prose and so forth. As such I've actually been poking at it for a long time, off and on since I finished reading the thing. Finished up the first chapter today. More or less because I'm not cut out for vacations in which I'm holed up in the house; if my sleep schedule weren't completely out of whack I'd've gone into work today. I have to be productive <i>somehow.</i> (Yesterday I finished coding and uploaded the first version of <a href="http://www.muhaitang.com ">my uncle's website.</a> Had to research online; you'd think he could be bothered to send a booklet scan for all his CDs. :P)
The translation itself needs to be polished. I should really be more systematic about translating certain terms versus others, for instance, not to mention romanization, but then with this series I barely know what they're talking about at times, let alone the accepted English rendering. That and the usual sort of mistakes I make due to failure to read properly. It turns out all this formatting crap follows when copying from Word to Semagic, though (x_x), so HTML it is.
