Will I be able to live with myself if I gave Mizuki decent taste in love poetry? This is not a drill.

In other news, it's amazing how much upkeep all my projects take just to keep me abreast and running. Am I becoming more organised and less of a spazz? Time will tell... o_O; Oh, and Vietnamese crepes are yummy, albeit the strong coconut milk flavour is startling when one's not used to it in the savoury-crepe context.

Considering Mizuki's shirts? No, you wouldn't.

But then, all of Mizuki screams "POSER!" to me.

Oh, well, not really - being a poser implies that you entertain the concept of Good Taste (tm) and are pretending to have it, even if your idea of it is off. Atobe's a poser. XD I don't think Mizuki is actively trying for anything or thinks he's all that, he's just being himself. (Which is, of course, kinda sad, but. XD)

Well, he has to have decent taste in something, after all, everyone does somewhere, right? Ok, maybe not him.

This is a difficult question, though. What's bad taste in love poetry? More people write bad poetry than like to read it. And I certainly am not going to write Mizuki writing poetry, because my masochism does have an upper bound. XD

That's true; most love poetry known well is known well because it is good/classic, and especially because poetry is no longer that much of a pop culture art form, so it would be like giving someone bad taste in opera; everything well known enough for the audience to count as a reference is in the repertory.

What, may I ask, is considered good taste in love poetry? For instance, if Mizuki started qutoing Shakespeare's sonnets, I would never forgive you, but I'm not sure if you could forgive yourself.

The option of Rumi has been tossed about. >:D ...No, seriously, I'm just sort of angsting that there's an appropriate poem that I want to stick in the fic, except I like it and do not particularly want to associate it with... yeah. XD (Although I can promise you this will not be a scene in which Mizuki confesses his wub to Yuuta in florid metre or anything. *sporks self for even entertaining the idea*)
