Weekend recap

petroniaBest. Hockey game. Evar. :D
Did not think about it before actually getting into the Bell Centre, but it was the first playoffs home game for the Canadiens since 2002. So I'm guessing it's not always this charged: 21,000 all up on their feet, dressed in red-white-blue, waving streamers frenetically and screaming at every check or breakaway. At one point we started a giant wave that went three times around the stadium. XD It helped that it was an energetic match with lots of goals and flashy scoring chances, and the Habs beat the Bruins 3-2 in regulation time - upon which the crowd spilled out the exits chanting and singing and waving flags, and getting honked at by passing cars.
Went to Easter party afterward, which mostly involved lots of booze and geek movies. XD Versus is hardcore kickass, and that's not just the five shots of ouzo talking - I mean, yakuza versus zombies, j0, that's like mecha pirates or space samurai. Great flavours that complement each other. Fell asleep a bit during Returner, but only because it was my second runthrough, and lud knows how much ouzo/retsina by that point.

Slept for two hours folded up in an armchair, hopped a 6:40 express bus back downtown from Pointe-Claire, arrived home, washed up and slept for three hours, and went to second (family) Easter party. ^^; Nothing much doing at this one except good food, conversation with sororial unit and blessed relaxation.
In other news, taxes have been pwnzd. Getting whopper refund, though I'll almost certainly have to pay out next year, given how much contract work I do on the side. And that covers everything I intended to get done this weekend, miraculously enough. ^^;
Chinese original online BL novel recs coming off AMLA. LIEK OMG I DIE NOW. (Mind you the inevitable result of reading Chinese origfic is not to inspire me to write m/m, but to inspire me to write non-fannish gen...)
EDIT -- Oh, K, Love Psychedelico III is brill. <333 Except possibly for the track that's more or less a deconstruction of "Hit Me Baby (One More Time)", and even that's more... startling... than anything else. XD
