(I do like Kyoko, and it took me a while to figure out why, apart from the fact that she is somewhat flakey but has excellent taste in men: it's archetypal sports shounen rivalslash, and presented as such. Except that, y'know, she's a girl, and therefore it could actually exceed subtext without incurring Gender Issues - if it weren't for the fact that IniD is IniD, and Keipi is alonely driver big dork. *cries*)
Back when Project D first kicked off and I found out Ryousuke had a webpage, I laughed heartily and contemplated him blogging. Now I think about it and am like, he'd be exactly like everyone else on my flist! Really! "Blahblah updated webpage blahblah gross med school dissection stories blablabla fandom eating life blahblah watching WRC religiously blahblah have not slept for 72 hours blahblah exams eating life blahblah hacked SQL for street race database blahblah cute sibling anecdote blahblah ok falling over bed now kthxbai." ...I have seven pages of unfinished Initial D fic. Seven pages. I didn't remember it being so much, I thought it was a snippet or two. And it stops right when the going's getting good. T_T

** I tend to like female characters who're flakey (not dumb, just odd) but have good taste in men; witness Orihime. If they're normal and sweet-natured it's horridly boring.
