Liner Notes

Disco Otaku Mix, like it says. All but two of these tracks date from the 1980s, some are hits, some are obscure, and some are filthy if you pay attention to what the lyrics are actually saying. There is quite a lot of italo disco, which (as we know) I consider to be an important genre because if there were no italo disco there would probably be no Pet Shop Boys and certainly no Initial D Eurobeat OSTs, and the world would be a colder and drearier place. Yes, this is really what I think Oshitari listens to, or will when he's old enough to drive.

For a change I figured I'd write liner notes on each of the tracks in a mix (as some of these are among my favorite songs ever, fluo-orange cheese and all). ( Cut for extreme length and otaku-dom )
