Vague grumbling

So much of nothing got done. @#$% Prince of Tennis is a fandom black hole. Just watching the anime is a time abyss - I mean I'm barely in the 30s, still, because everytime I say I'm going to watch it really I swear I get through a couple of episodes and collapse into bed. And then there's two tankoubons' worth or so of manga that I can't read on the metro. What sort of parent names their child Kurobane Harukaze? And why is it that in my dotage I've begun to complain about weird names in manga?

(Well. I worked six hours and urged the office network to struggle up on its wobbly reincarnated knees. 'S not so bad, and in fact a lot better than it was before. But of the schtuff that most of you read me for, fic or GetBackers translations or site revamp - none of that got done. XD;; I did remake the front page layout with Ginji-kun, but now I have to do over the rest with DWMX templates, bleargh.)

I've finally figured out what it is about Tezuka that makes my antennae twitch, though: it's the fact that he's got the same glasses as I do. On some subliminal level every time I see him I think, おい、返して。
