At the Fischerspooner concert, with Tiga opening. Didn't even try for tickets, because really, how often do the counter chicks at Club Soda, Metropolis et al have to laugh in one's face and inform one that one should've come a month ago this is Montreal ferchrissakes hullo we love Depeche Mode almost as much as Brazil before it gets through one's thick noggin?

Gigs I've missed in, like, literally the past month:

• Interpol
• Fischerspooner
• Dave Gahan
• David Usher

And Bowie, I think, or maybe he's still to come, but I wouldn't go anyway because it's going to be a huge stadium thing (i.e. weird) and I fear being trampled by fangirls of all ages.

In other news, have been told twice today to get Litestep. Won't have time to fiddle with shell customisation thingys or any such geegaws for another month, so settled for throwing some skins and new icons sets at Windows XP instead.

It's like whenever I read the NY Times arts section, which is not the pinnacle of hippiness by any means, I start crying over all the gigs I will not be going to. Damn cities with their things to do~
