Posted the clean version of the GB fic on my site. ([livejournal.com profile] wenlet, this includes your beta, of which I implemented about 2/3. *g* Basically everything you pointed out that, well, I didn't do on purpose.) So should I send it to the ML? Join the lj-comm and post a link there? (Is there a way of joining comms without having the bazillion posts show up on one's lj-friends, as this is basically why I don't have any? -__-;) More to the point, should I make kultur notes like I did for MitM and VoT?

*dies at the thought of having to annotate for Piazzolla, Gardel, Goya and half a dozen tango patterns, not to mention throwaway appropriation of Neuromancer and Joy Division lyrics*

I should stop writing smugly referential fanfiction. No good ever comes of it.

Hmm. Now to make pre-trip to-do list. (Got your number, Kristin. :D)

Yes, there is. When you click on the 'join community' link on that community's info page, it'll take you to the confirmation page where there'll be a checked box that says 'Add community XXX to your friends list' (or something thereabouts). Uncheck said box, click the confirmation, and voila! You'll be a member and not have a clogged up friends page!

Dude! If you wrote something like that, it'd be read and appreciated. But then again, I'm a big nerd, and such things warm my cold programmer's heart. (though I'd understand if you were totally burned out on the damned thing; then again, if you're feeling showoffy...)

Smugly referential is teh roxor! Particularly as you've a light touch; it doesn't feel out-of-place. (and if i never gave you props on the whole thing: it's good stuff; worth more detailed praise, but...am way distracted.)
