All the beauty of the thing is in the execution, because face it: this be essentially a cosmic-scaled Magic: The Gathering tournament. ...Yeah, I'd buy'em at that. Aesthetic weakness. I bought Tania a set of the X/1999 tarot, but she refuses to unsheath them for daily use.
(For the love of small apples, Ginji isn't dumb. The Maria training bit laid it all out, gratifying me with my own rectitude of analysis. XD Too, it does Ban good to be taken down a couple of notches. The fans are all very well, but I won't forgive him if he really thinks of Ginji as stupider than he is. Itsumo eraisou na yatsu. :P)
EDIT -- Have gotten disturbingly good at drawing chibified Jack Sparrow. Decidedly I need to work on my non-traumatising fanart-fu.
