I felt compelled to make this of a sudden. [livejournal.com profile] z107m and [livejournal.com profile] cirdan_havens will be amused, but dunno about anyone else... Does Kircheis count as LoER? XD He's not like any of the others. None of the others are really what you'd call sweet. But K is a saint.

I have to go to bed. I'd make more of an avoidance fuss normally, as somewhere deep down inside I think sleep is time I waste when I could be happily procrastinating over my various hobbies and interests, but I've decided to start working on my lucid dreaming technique again. Now that I've framed sleep as an activity, I have far less complaints. (Dear saints.) Also, discounting locked entries, I have six (6) ficposts on my first lj-entries view. I appear to be the diametric opposite of the type of writer who needs angst to produce. It didn't occur to me that my creative output was shrivelling up compared to HS/CEGEP because university was making me wretched; any explanation but that. I'd normalised the wretchedness to such an extent I thought it was the usual course of things. I know better now.

But...but...Writing when angsty just makes the fic go to hell because I can't separate Their angst from My angst! It ends up angsty and horrible!

That you have the mental resources to expend, really. That you have enough stamina to use up a little on your hobbies - at least that's what it is for me. 'Cos reading is relaxation but writing is stress, even if it isn't life-altering stress like major exams, and sometimes even a little is too much to handle.

Actually, oddly enough, I've been thinking about Kircheis a lot lately. Maybe it's related to watching B5 and seeing the LoGH parallels. Or maybe because he's got the same "kir" sound as Cirdan. But really, Kircheis is a saint, I agree.

kircheis! KIRCHEIS! *echo* KIRCHEIS!!!! *echo* *echo*

one only needs three miracles to be a saint, so i think kircheis passes easily:
1-he blessed julian, and indeed, julian lives
2-he appears to reinhardt regularly to convince him to have mercy on his poor subordinates
3-he got hilda to marry reinhardt

curious that you chose the manga version of k. got into many a long arguments with ppl at random cons over which version of k looks more manly, anime or manga? i always thought michihara made k look a bit too bishi, but on the other hand, ppl apparently did not take well to the amazingly curly hair and large blue eyes of the anime.

Actually I "chose" the manga version because it's the only workable pic of Kircheis I have on my hard drive - otherwise I'd have to scan from the mooks you sent me. ^^; I was thinking of making a big ol' set of icons from the entire tarot deck, actually, and have all the people wonder who the heck these charas were.

K's three miracles: *snerk*

well, hafta admit, not all the charas on the tarot decks were entirely recognizable, either. but if you made 125 icons for all the charas of logh, you'd have my respect indeed!

(actually, they already have in a way. one of the newtypes a couple years back had a sticker collection book. all 125 charas, mostly close-up head shots on little 1in squares. and miraculously enough, they were rather distinct from one another! Legend of the Galactic Heroes. Distinctive character. Distinctive flavor. :b)

I figure someone's done it for Suikoden, at least.

(You wouldn't happen to have a scan of this sticker collection? XD)
