I see it's going to be a boring life for me until I get to see X2 tomorrow. >_>

Promised music to [livejournal.com profile] luckykitty but will have to code download page. Spent time writing pitas reviews and watching movie about curling and beavers instead. (Beavers like in Narnia, you hentais, like Rocky and Bullwinkle. Reminds me that if it weren't for Benton Fraser I wouldn't know what slash was, and not because I was ever into DS either. Because some dumbass women's magazine entertainment reporter was interviewing Paul Gross and told him. And put it in her article. What's wrong with people?) Tomorrow? _o_

Ooh, "Men With Brooms". I shall need to pick this up as I miss Paul Gross terribly.

lux, apparently still the only person in the world who liked Due South.

If you liked DS you'll love this movie. It's like the weirdness expanded to include an entire town instead of the one Mountie.

In retrospect DS was quite a good show. I didn't like it much at the time, though; I just found it... odd. ^^;

Have to admit, I sort of want to see that movie for the curling. ^_^; I still remember when I saw curling for the first time (as an exhibition sport at the Calgary Winter Olympics, IIRC) and thinking something along the lines that whoever thought this game up had to be really bored or really drunk, or both, hee.

One of the main reasons I liked Due South (besides the inspired use of Leslie Nielsen) was because they always played music by artists I'd never heard before. Think DS was where I heard Sarah McLachlan for the first time. So, I remember the show fondly.

And yeah, I think the Mountie dress uniform is one of the better ones out there. ^_^;

Highland whiskey. Gets you every time. XD

D00d, if you liked the music you'll like this movie even more. The Can-Con was coming out my ears. And there's still inspired use of Leslie Nielsen.

Sweet! Will definitely order it then. More Can-Con is always a good thing. As is more Leslie Nielsen.
