So these .mov clips play with a white screen - audio only, no video. I have Quicktime 4.1, DivX 4.12; computers involved are one Win98, one WinXP. Anyone encountered this before? Not a DivX codex upgrade issue, I hope? Because I'm sure that would render some of my anime unviewable. >_<

(For once that I paid for my lesbiantastic Russian schoolgirl technopop music video, dammit...)

Hmm... DivX shouldn't have squat to do with a .mov file. Have you checked Apple's website for help?

I do know recently when I tried to play something (forget what), I got a really neat I-can-see-the-desktop-where-the-video-should-be effect, but I haven't updated Quicktime in a coon's age.

It's not, like, a Quicktime 6 file or something? Although Quicktime's probably the type of program that would tell you that when you tried to play the file...

...I said "like". Ew.

My new favorite girlband, Tatu, which has been spreading west from Moscow with a viral force only attainable by pop music, internet memes and the 'flu. Better than the Ketchup Song, is all I can say. Lesbiantastic and Smiths-covering. XD I've been getting around to writing an extended !journalism entry on them for days. Go gack the video to "All The Things She Said" here (http://www.tatu.ru/eng/down_vid.shtml) and save me the trouble of explaining the glorious wrongness.
