Baby diary: ONE YEAR OLD
Dec. 12th, 2019 09:29 pmHappy birthday, Alan!
In this family of introverts we always have a family birthday celebration that isn’t combined with any public one. So Alan will have an afternoon play date with pop-up tent and ball pit (no balls) and cupcakes sort of party on Sunday, but my parents insisted that we spend today together with a proper fancy French pastry. I bought a caramel pear buttercream confection, of which I allowed Alan to eat one chou (cream puff).
I got him a rocking horse (zebra), I suppose because I always wanted one as a child, but he’s not old enough to sit astride yet: he stays in position but definitely not in his comfort/fun zone. XD;
