Damn. He was so young and his work was incredible. If I had to name the best most flawless anime it would be Millenium Actress and I enjoyed his other works and he could have had so much ahead of him.
God, what terrible news. I think I'm still shocked and generally rather upset, especially since it sounds like he'd been working on a new film and I only recently started appreciating his works that I glossed over when I was young and stupid(er). :/
