I feel your pain--I live in the US but I'm originally from Canada, so I was watching it with my roommate and her friend, and they were cheering the USA/trashtalking (in a fun, jokey way) Canada. But yayyyy go Canada!
We just watched to see a good game, and out of frustration because our satellite dish iced over during the prelims last week. D: We weren't particularly cheering for anyone, just hoping to see a good game.
Still, couldn't help but feel terrible for losing goalies in general (and poor dejected Ryan Miller in particular). The team sports psychologist must have a lot of work to do with goalies, I'm thinking. XD;;;
I know, I felt really bad for Ryan Miller! He was on fire during the whole tournament, a really huge part of the US team getting as far as the gold medal game to begin with.
