Vancouver Olympics: well, that didn't abide by the P.R.C.'s 0.01% error margin. XD; Doobies, not bots... (And FYI public tweetstream, Ashley MacIsaac is openly gay too. In all honesty yr friendly neighbours to the north didn't put KD Lang up there to make a point about universal healthcare, the woman can sing.)

I loved the First Nations bits, though. And the whales. And MTL as represented by Garou, Nikki "one degree of separation" Yanofsky, and *sigh* "Hallelujah".


Weather: I keep forgetting to remark on this, but WTF Snowcalypse? Did you guys steal ours somehow? Would explain why we've had sunny skies for weeks, at this rate even the iced-up ground accumulation is sublimating.

Aren't you amused at the Snowcaplypse? I mean, it's what we end up dealing with on a fairly regular basis... (I miss the snow, though...)

Just confuzzled! I can understand if (as happened a few years back) there were a mass of Arctic air sitting on top of us for a month with the snow front way down south, but it isn't even all that cold.

It would be unkind to make remarks about the US wanting Canadian natural resources so badly that hell, why not give 'em our snow as well, so I won't. But they can melt what they've got for water if they're hard up.

(Do not miss the snow. We've had more than our average the last two years. But I understand the mindset of people who aren't used to getting 45 cm of snow having a foot and a half dumped on them. Twice.)
