I like how you have this very clear sense of self, as defined by the stuff you do and/or are interested in - elevating so much of it to a quasi-Japanese aesthetic Way Of Doing Things! - yet at the same time you're pretty chill about letting/accepting change in that self over time.

Xuze is still around. XD Nose about a bit in friendsfriends and you'll find her; haven't spoken in years, but it is a "perfectly contactable in case of emergency" situation.

I don't know where to start, to be honest. XD; I mean, you're a designer, and I would guess that you just feel that this is a craft you work at, but everything you toss out - even the layout of your LJ posts - has some sort of thought put into its aesthetics beforehand, so that it speaks clearly of you. And that makes it a pleasure to be in your (internet) company at all times. When you don't post I always wish you'd post more! I'm aware it's not your primary focus but I find your meta and essays really insightful, even when they're about books etc. I haven't read. XD;

I like how you post about daily real life stuff (making yours a Proper Blog) as well as your writing and Further Explorations which I feel highly privileged to access tbh - some of your ideas have done a lot for my own thinking over the past year although it's more likely to bear fruit within fictional structures somewhere down the line rather than as online conversation, so... just letting it be stated for the record. XD

I also have to actively resist in order not to steal your posting style. XD;;
