My life started to make a tiny bit more sense five minutes ago when I realized The Last Shadow Puppets are basically the UK indie version of Shuji to Akira. Aren't they??? Even with the part about the side formation weirdly coming out and selling loads months before the proper main group?

Only it's the universe opposite the one where you get kicked out of the band for drinking beer. IIRC you know who Shuji and Akira are. XD My default assumption is that no one knows what I'm talking about, but that's what Google is for - or y'all can just ignore me. XDD

(For any JE-types reading this: partially it's a structural thing w/r/t the group formations, partially the fact that I have never seen a band member love knowledge test outside a Japanese publication before, and partially how Alex Turner just reminds me of Kamenashi Kazuya NO FOR REALS same age same height same hair same personality)
