petroniaLazy mood, drinking coffee. Likeable grizzled guest lecturer's soft-spokenness has class (all ten, count'em ten people who bothered to show up) sunk in attentive lethargy. Meanwhile I make cheeky comments out of sheer contrarianism.

Part of the problem with posting, I think, is that I'm annoyed at having to discuss Libs fandom. XD; Sororial unit sez I'm embarrassed about it being RPF but that's not it, I'm embarrassed about it being fandom. It happens every time. You know how you get tired of going on and on? sesame_seed, who heard out the whole of starlighter's Oofuri rant in the sake bar, then heard out the whole of my Libs rant on the train back. I don't think she ranted enough in return XD). But probably we should assume everything I post relates, just not exactly how. The link can be pretty far-fetched.
Like this song, which has been cropping up with regularity ever since I put it on the Nana FST pt.II. Witness the awesome extended remixes above that pretty much fell into my lap from disparate sources. What J calls "the Flow"... The funny thing is I didn't even start out liking it once upon a time but it's one of those melodies that slowly soak through one's consciousness with repetition, like PSB's "Love Comes Quickly". I've been listening to a lot of rave and early indie-dance - remixes of Primal Scream etc., One Dove, Andrew Weatherall (who did the "A Dub Chapter" mix) - Saint Etienne seems to be a touchstone. It's a sound that should come back, maybe. The problem with New Rave is that it sounds like everything except Rave 1.0. What is up with that?
