a) The beautiful trainwreck that is MoB as a whole, I guess. XD
b) He's devoted.
c) He's... devoted.
d) In canon, Naoe is a self-absorbed, painfully intelligent wanker who monologues endlessly. He's like the fanficcer's Get Out Of Jail Free card.
e) Case in point, this one (http://www.kekkai.org/sabina/NnY/fiction/mirage/03.html). In despair he constructed ontologies of hatred, perversely savouring the complexity of his own impulses as if they were fine wine. Ahaha.

a) Yuuta. Dunno if this is surprising. XD That was the part of the story that moved me; gave an emotional handle by which the character could be picked up, so to speak.
b) He looks out for the people he cares for, though he tries not to let them become aware of this.
c) He's too certain of his own approach to life.
d) Fuji's never given me any trouble. XD Then again, I've never tried to write him from the inside.
e) It's hard to pick these... I think, maybe the bit in FdY: Shuusuke gave off the impression that he was the right size, and anyone who was taller was too big.
f) Nothing concrete, unless I get up the courage to post that wack Viewfinder AU.

b) He's gambited to automatically - oh, you mean characterization. Well. He's a genius?
c) ...Amazingly, I can't think of anything. Maybe it's just too late at night. I can extrapolate that he might develop issues in the future, but in-game time... he's too idealistic, maybe, but even that's hard to say.
d) Surprisingly easy.
e) I've only written the one story with Larsa in. XD
f) And I'll probably continue it? I keep saying this.

a) I am pretty sure I started writing VF fic because sesame_seed bugged me to. XD
b) He doesn't try to deny how much of a creature of emotion he is (says as much to Takaba). Actually he flaunts his weaknesses for anyone to see if they were looking but good luck trying to take advantage of them.
c) He is kind of crazy. XD Like probably Baishe would have less problems if he were more like Asami, but what can one say.
d) Actually writing Feilong isn't all that difficult. But I don't have all that much to say about him specifically.
e) High Rise: And more than anything else in the world, Fei Long wanted to be able to hurt Asami.
f) Not much - he's involved in the last few chapters of Traffic, obviously, but I don't think he'll physically appear.

a) Because he KILLED me and I was so @#$% pissed off. XD But by the time I was halfway done with Dawn I'd forgotten this. Probably buried somewhere under the ARGH I HAVE TO RESTART I thought he was attractive, and that particular combination of reactions set off my sadistic impulse as a ficcer. It's all very Harry-Draco.

The Harry Potter books would have been way better if Draco had gone around with a tentacly black panther as a pet.

b) Are we talking about, like, fanon Rufus? XD That he's ruthless and clever, I guess. I'm just into that "type", and the Tseng/Rufus pairing has a lot to do with it too. Bodyguard moe~

c) In canon, I'd say the fact that he actually meant that bit about ruling by fear being more effective. It isn't. I don't think he's read The Art of War for Corporate Raiders. XD

d) Dawn was like chewing nails, but that. was ages ago. Sense of Theatre was a lot easier.

e) Sense of Theatre, again.

f) None for the moment, but that's just because I've never been good at coming up with anything for FF7 that hasn't already been done.

a) It wasn't so much that I liked him as found him mysterious, and the Gin/Rangiku stories I encountered didn't match what I thought might have happened or what their relationship was. So it was just to extrapolate a version of events that made sense to me, even if I'm sure canon will be something else altogether. XD Also, the GinRan story was a fic request.

b) Is it possible to say of Gin that he has a good trait? XD It's like the reverse of Larsa, above. What I like about him is that he's basically dark!fanon!AU!Fuji out of Tenipuri, only not fanon and not AU. Also, I like the fact that he's really difficult to damage. It means I can do things with him that I'd feel queasy doing with other characters, like that Aizen/Gin shortfic. But these are traits that make him fun to write, not traits that make him a better person. XD

c) The cruelty. I mind this less in fiction but actually, in real life I detest people who play pranks or engage in mind games or poke at people for fun just to see how they react.

d) The Gin/Ran story was extremely difficult, but it wasn't because of Gin so much as because it wasn't an easy story to tell. The Aizen/Gin fic was stress relief =_= (I was studying for a standardized exam).

e) When he grabs Aizen's ankle in "An Open-Ended Experiment" - that to me is the most "Gin-rashii" moment I've written.

f) I've been trying off and on to write the continuation to this universe but it won't come together. (Again from Matsumoto's POV; people never ask about my POV characters, only the others. XD)
