SSBB story from September 2006
Jul. 27th, 2007 07:26 pmClosed Circuit [Original, NC17]
I worked on it some more; this is the final version. It's not bad, I guess. XD
Still plugging away at the current issue of SSBB, so radio silence for another week at least, but I did order HP7 so I'll be reading that when it comes. Yesterday I got an unexpected day off (blackouts throughout the downtown commercial area, for some reason), so at least I managed to catch up on some of the RL crap: tax forms, house chores, etc. And Fantasia is over, though I still have half a dozen reviews to write. XD
I got up to FMA vol.4 before I started Amato Amaro, and now I'm reading Maiden Rose II. I'm definitely missing part of volume one. On top of that it's slow going because metro-to-work is way too early in the morning for this kind of LoGH military jargon, not to mention the Shinto schtuff that requires footnotes in Japanese, but (as with basso) the kanji clusters are part of the charm. Feels like one's reading something substantial and not, yanno, pr0n. XD
It's set in an interesting universe, actually. Sort of the Guy Gavriel Kay school of historical fantasy, if Kay went so far as WWII Japan. (Or is it WWI?)

...Is this Prince of Tennis fanart on Tada Yumi's website? Ouch my head.
