Ayaka - I Believe: I just now saw Ayaka sing this on CTV Sports as Miki Ando won the World Figure Skating Championships (held in Japan this year) and skated to this song for her gala performance, and they got Ayaka in to perform it live. Where is my figure skating shoujo manga, Japan?

The Field - The Deal: caught up with TRC and Holic. I... I think I should've waited until next week. XD;;

Anyway, this was the (appropriately titled, at that) piece of music I was listening to when *spoiler* defeated *spoiler* and *spoiler* came down from the sky and then *spoiler* *spoilered* and everything went pear-shaped. It was sort of awesome.

I adore I Believe, particularly the version she sings in collaboration with Kobukuro (or Kokuburo. Um.) Very cool.

HAHAHAHA that's sort of how I felt -- I caught up with Holic about, um, two weeks ago, so before things really went BOOM, but when things were really beginning to go tilting sideways. XD

... but I'm still totally downloading that second piece. XD

I tend to feel it's pretty brilliant when that happens - when you end your marathon read/watch session you don't just run out of series, you're in the trenches with the rest of fandom all speculating and squeeing and biting your nails together. XD It happened to me with Bleach.

I really didn't expect how TRC went down. XD I mean, it's mostly based on CCS; for the first however many volumes one assumed CLAMP just wanted to draw cute fluffy crossovers with lots of costume changes.
