Have some Ono Lisa. *g*

Ono Lisa - Senza fine: in Italian. This is the theme music of the fic I'm writing, I guess. >_> But I don't know if I want to call it that (à la Flor de Yemanja which it resembles rather). I should go with a one-word title but the next fic'll break the streak regardless, since it has a 16-word working title.

Ono Lisa - Cerejeira do Japão: according to the booklet, a cover of a pre-war pop song (which is what it sounds like). Swooning Brazilian exotica about cherry blossoms; Optimo would be amused. XD

Ono Lisa - Deixa: Faster-paced. Pretty much all the cuts on the Rio Bossa album are ace - it's my favorite of the three I bought this time.

Ono Lisa - Historia de un amor: from Romance Latino vol.2. In China they advertise this stuff as follows: "Do you like the soundtracks to Wong Kar Wai movies???" ...Actually it makes me think of Shadow of the Wind (as filmed by whom? not WKW, I don't think), which I'd FST if I could get beyond oh, three songs.

And some Feist, though I'm last on the block with the full album:

Feist - Let It Die: uploaded as an exhibit to explain that I think Feist slid in under the boundless Chinese love for easy listening sadgirlpop. I mean, doesn't she sound kind of like Karen Mok? The "quirkily indie" of one context is the "wispily pleasant cantopop" of another. XD;

Feist - One Evening: there should be a word for this sort of thing - indiefunk? (Analogous to indiepop's introversion and sonic amateurization(?) of "proper" pop.) Japanese artists like Chara do it on a fairly regular basis.

I'm glad people are liking - I feel silly sometimes because I keep titling my fics after Lisa Ono standards covers and it's like this tyranny of easy listening. *g*
