Happy Deepavali/Diwali

petroniaI fly out on Hari Raya, dates are auspicious. XD And there is a biennale happening here as well as in Shanghai.
So far I have been to Little India, Chinatown, the Boat Quay and Orchard Road; bussed all the way across Tampines (past a newly constructed Ikea megastore, to give an idea of where that is in the city structurally); had kaya toast and milk coffee and shaved ice with red bean and grass jelly and grated peanuts and corn, and Indians sweets I can't identify; met![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
helvetius and lacewood and aefallen; written four postcards I haven't yet sent; visited two Hindu temples; hit up Marks and Spencer for tea and jaffa cakes; and bought Steel Ball Run vol.9. Not however in that order.
In five hours I have to get up and grab a bus to Malacca so I'd best go to bed now. XD
