Sunday single special (x3 fast)
May. 21st, 2006 12:21 pmWill lose Internet access here for some time when I reinstall Windows, so while I'm backing up still, here's some music.
The Knife - Silent Shout (Album Version) (6.7MB)
The Knife - Silent Shout (Konstruction Small Rave Edit) (7.4MB)
The Knife - Silent Shout (Shinedoe Remix) (16.2MB)
The Knife - Silent Shout (Troy Pierce Barado en Locombia Mix) (14.6MB)
The Knife - Silent Shout (Williams Acidic Circuits Remix) (22.4MB)
This is rilly rilly goth. XD Bauhaus cover remixed by Black Strobe level of goth (it's not, but I've got that too somewhere). My favorite is the Williams Acidic Circuits Mix, which basically takes the arpeggiated synth riff and canes it into a quivering heap of satisfaction. It's very obvious, I mean, in a good way. Tiga played it at 2AM or so - his entire set was about obvious-inna-good-way - and I sang along to the whole thing including the synth arpeggios.
Tosca - Zueri (Lindstrom & Prins Thomas Remix): forgot to upload this to the other post - it's one of my favorites too. ^^; Relaxing and not as dancey as most of the other L&PT tracks, more just a rambly sort of acoustic guitar thing. (8.0MB) The other track I should've asterisked but didn't was the Brennan Green, but since it's relatively tiny you all should've gacked it anyway. XD
Phil K & Habersham - Cloudbrake (Original Mix): left over from the Yukikaze FST (which I'm taking down tomorrow btw). Psytrance would be this, I think? XD ...Actually Vahid-was-it on ILM entirely correct that cutting-edge minimal bobbins will have swung from electro back to trance by 2007, you can hear it happening, and at this point it can't happen fast enough for my likingI want it all to sound like Booka Shade and Border Community only more so. Maybe in eight months I'll have changed my mind. XD
DJ Soup - Temperature In Paris (MSTRKRFT vs Sean Paul): TWO GREAT FLAVOURS THAT TASTE GREAT TOGETHER __Y __N
The Gossip - Standing In The Way Of Control (Le Tigre Remix): fell down the back of my hard drive and recently rediscovered. Boldly occupies a previously unknown cusp between divadisco and grrlpunk. MOSH.
