Date: 2006-01-11 06:01 am (UTC)If you can think of a place that serves good ramen-not-instant-noodles, we shall try it asap. It is the most affordable thing at those un-affordable restaurants on De La Montagne, but the time I went, it was bland visually. While I had fantastic ramen in HK, the most vibrant memory of a ramen meal had to be at the Shin-Yokohama ramen museum... several shops around a 'town square' set, with ramen made in various styles per region. 'Isakaya' on Du Parc is what comes to mind, for non-sushi Japanese food, but it's un-affordable, and I don't know if they serve ramen.

Date: 2006-01-11 01:45 pm (UTC)I need to get me some of that action :-D Maybe i can convince my friends to do it this weekend...
Btw, how did the movie compare to the books? I bought the compilation but have yet to read them. The movie won't be out here for a little while, so i'm wondering if i should put down "The Thief of Time" (which i just started) and start working on Narnia instead...
What do you think?
