Analysis:

1) I wrote three reasonably popular stories in the last year? Did that happen?
2) There are a lot of people in these Marvel movie fandoms.
3) I thought the Yuletide 2011 story was going to be a hit when I wrote it, then it turned out not to be. But now it's got more hits than either of the other Yuletide stories year over year. XD;
4) Man, folks just really like that HikaGo story.

Hikago story also probably got more hits lately because of the "Upload your backlog to AO3" effort. I know several people have systematically left kudos on every Hikago story I've ever written.

Haha, is there such an effort? My Hikago story (uploaded recently) got a surprising number of kudos considering it's got ten hits on it XD I had assumed it was simply the small fandom effect.

Mine has just been consistently getting hits for maybe six months now. I think it may actually be the link from the lovely person who did fanart for it on DevArt, that's the only thing I remember changing. XD

There's also an organized re-watch going on of late, with lots of accompanying fannish activities and rekindled interest. I've noticed a kudos/hit spike on my stuff on AO3, as well. XD

Yup, there's a concerted effort; qem_chibati, hostilecrayon and I have been trying to get Hikago into the top 10 anime fandoms on AO3. ^^ We just have to beat Yuu-gi-oh now!
