petroniaIn other news, I'm putting my concerts and Fantasia movie showings in my lj to-do list. First screening is the festival opener, 6:30PM tonight. Then we'll see.
The Contemporary Art Museum (and its washrooms, says the sign on the door) is open late every evening during the Jazz Festival. Was furafura-ing in the attached bookstore between sets last night and nearly bought an essay collection by a disciple of Barthes because it made me think of Mirage of Blaze. I might go back for it. ^^; But price aside I often deliberately don't buy such things because I'm then forced to reconstruct the relevant argument from memory. Distorting it in the process, no doubt, but writing is all synthesis.
