Although now someone's going to have to come up with the f/f equivalent of "mpreg". No, I didn't think I'd see the day either.

(Although dude, does anyone have chapters 15 and 17 in any language readable by me, because this is not the sort of series you can skip a chapter of and still have a hope in hell of following. It's hard enough from one speech bubble to the next. T_T)

Actually, the concept of f/f mpreg came up in Discworld fandom a good while back. I believe it got termed fryfic. ...I had the plotbunny for one in the Discworld universe, but never actually wrote it (In it, Susan had kids. A mermaid was the dad. :D)

None, actually--I think it was bravecows who had a demented desire for an f/f equivalent to mpreg that spawned (hee, spawn) the discussion. And it might actually have come up in the context of Good Omens idea first--Pepper/War fryfic came up at some point, anyhow.

Chapter 14, yup. That I've read. ^^ Then I skipped to chapter 16 wherein it turns out the other girl is - as far as I can tell - Kunimasa's mother but his little brother's father. And then it got weird.

According to Hidekuni, her name is Madarame Makio, and she's the father of Shinobu and Manami (with snake!mom Okami) but the mother of Kunimasa and Yonekuni (with fathers as known, so those two aren't technically related to Okami at all, but the four of them are half-siblings except for Shinobu and Manami who are full siblings). And yes, then it gets weird. As far as I can figure, there was familial drama involved in Makio and Okami getting together - one of them cheated on the other's father, rumours of prostitution, supposedly Makio now runs an escort service I DON'T KNOW - which resulted in the Madarame 本家 losing its heir(s), since Okami ended up with all the kids. So Makio came to take one of hers back, and between Kunimasa and Yonekuni, Kunimasa was the one who went with her (apparently more than once as a child). Which is why Yonekuni kind of has angst about it, because he thinks it's what screwed Kunimasa's personality up - Makio's idea of "bringing him back to the family" appears to involve seducing him. o_o;;;;

All of the above contigent on my battered-and-frayed reading comprehension, and anything else Kotobuki is liable to make up out of the blue.
