[livejournal.com profile] worldserpent: I have to wonder why everyone else didn't tell Rukia about this
[livejournal.com profile] worldserpent: Unless it happened way before. Being married is not a private thing
[livejournal.com profile] petronia: It must have been quite some time before.
[livejournal.com profile] petronia: But well, not before Rukia was born, obviously,
[livejournal.com profile] worldserpent: But how old is Rukia?
[livejournal.com profile] worldserpent: I mean, and it has to have been some time between the two that Hisana met Byakuya
[livejournal.com profile] petronia: so come to think of it they couldn't have been married all that long before she died. o_o
[livejournal.com profile] worldserpent: True
[livejournal.com profile] worldserpent: So it would have been within the memories of many people
[livejournal.com profile] petronia: Well, you do get the feeling that the Kuchiki are somewhat secretive, but...
[livejournal.com profile] worldserpent: But marriage is sort of well... difficult to hide?
[livejournal.com profile] worldserpent: The whole point of being married is to ... well we're not sure if spirits do reproduce, so let's just say legitimize
[livejournal.com profile] petronia: Maybe they eloped. XD
[livejournal.com profile] worldserpent: Byakuya, elope?!
[livejournal.com profile] petronia: As of course Hisana was a penniless commoner and it would have been a scandal!!!
[livejournal.com profile] worldserpent: ..legitimize one's romantic relationships
[livejournal.com profile] petronia: *makes shiz up*
[livejournal.com profile] worldserpent: XD It is like a Romance Novel
[livejournal.com profile] petronia: Actually I think it would be an AWESOME romance novel.
[livejournal.com profile] worldserpent: !!!
[livejournal.com profile] worldserpent: And you say you can't imagine Byakuya married?
[livejournal.com profile] petronia: O if it were only an old-skool shoujo manga instead of WJ. XDDD
[livejournal.com profile] petronia: I can't imagine the Byakuya of Bleach-to-date doing all that.
[livejournal.com profile] petronia: But well, so Kubo Tite is breaking my brain merrily.
[livejournal.com profile] worldserpent: Hey, maybe it will be shounen enough if you add in enough Tokugawa imagery
[livejournal.com profile] petronia: What else is new.
[livejournal.com profile] worldserpent: Well, OBVIOUSLY he is all embittered because of Hisana's death, so it caused him to become a bastard
[livejournal.com profile] petronia: Hey, at least she didn't go mad and he had to lock her up in the attic.
[livejournal.com profile] worldserpent: Maybe she DID!
[livejournal.com profile] worldserpent: Maybe Hisana went insane or was possessed, and she was actually the 1st person to see his bankai! And so even though Hisana doesn't blame him for killing her (see it's like an echo of the Kaien situation), he still is like all guilty
[livejournal.com profile] worldserpent: This is probably not chronological
[livejournal.com profile] petronia: XDDDDD
[livejournal.com profile] petronia: PSHAW CHRONOLOGY
[livejournal.com profile] worldserpent: YAY ROMANCE NOVEL

Just the mental image of Byakuya keeping his crazy old wife in the attic... BWAHAHA. Except I still don't understand the whole business about dying when you're already dead. :P

Dear Kubo Tite,

*whispers* I heard about the whole 'Byakuya having a thing for women who resembles his wife' from a friend of mine ([livejournal.com profile] worldserpent.) Is it true? And if so, would you please write that into the plot because I think it shows Byakuya's honourable and manly attempt at reprssing his feelings, and at the same time shows us what a wonderful and caring person he truly is. In addition, making the incest-reading sub-section of your fanbase very happy. Even if they are not related by blood, the Family did adopt her. It is like a kink. Thank you for reading my short letter.

P.S. The mad-wife deal would also be appreciated.

Yours sincerely,
Shoujo-reading crack!whore,
naanima

you got it wrong :

it's "Byakuya having a thing for women who resembles his wife HIM"

so many people thought she was his sister. Can the vanity make you choose a wife who actually looks like you ?
