So does this hold for Souji, too? In the other post you used "calculating" about somebody: I suppose Souji is calculating although I dislike the word as it implies mathematics.

I think it does, to some extent (Souji is more the "dual identities" bit, how he has a sheathed self and an unsheathed self, so to speak). But "calculating" is important, in that: said characters are all extremely coolheaded, logical, strategic thinkers, and what gets me is the contrast between that and the absolute emotional illogic of the goal, which tends to be something like "making papa happy"... okay, so Souji isn't all that far off. XD But he's not very calculating in that respect.
