Square Victoria Square Victoria

Taken on a Monday, when it's been snowing in intervals since Friday: 72 hours that dumped a foot-thick layer of damp flour over the city.
McGill Avenue McGill Avenue

It doesn't snow like this all that often, really: big fluffy flakes that fill the air and float to earth under their own weight. Snow globe snow, Christmas snow, Platonic ideal snow.
Place d'Youville Place d'Youville

In other words, photographs of snow to confirm every stereotype anyone's ever held about Canada.
Man with Dog Man with Dog

Nothing says winter like a golden retriever puppy all covered with snow from paws to muzzle.
Tania and Me Tania and Me

Inside Tania's car. This is, like, a Ban and Ginji moment. XD;;
My Street I My Street I

More stereotypical Canadiana: semi-shoveled driveways and conifers, even.
My Street II My Street II

...Actually, what I forgot to mention all this time is that I live a block down from the Dursleys on Privet Drive.
Tania and Car Tania and Car

Tania's 愛車, need I say more.

Ah, yes, back when I lived in the States there was such a thing as snow days off school. :D;; Since I moved to Canada I think I've had a grand total of three, not counting the Great Ice Storm.

It's 40°C here today, but I feel slightly cooler just looking at your photos. Canada is so pretty. Thank you.

(Also, puppy! Cute!)

You called it on the Ban and Ginji moment, all right.

*wishes desperately she could have one*

It's beautiful. I've never seen snow in real life before. Other than ice kachang (shaved ice).

Seeing as it's only a week and a half to yule (the big day for us being the 24th), and all our snow has rained away, I'm feeling just a teensy bit envious here...

Nifty pics, though! :D

Actually, the odds are even that it's going to melt off in the next ten days. ^^;

Yup... looks like here ^_~

Except no big old buildings where I live... I liked the SV pic because I worked nearly 6 years in the Stock Exchange Tower so that was a view I saw a LOT :)
