I am on the verge of making a Mirage of Blaze filter for when I feel compelled to say stupid shiz like this online, but CHIAKI SHUUHEI IS MY FRICKIN' HERO.

...Even though he was no help whatsoever. But it's sort of like arguing with your friend over something incredibly stupid s/he did when s/he was drunk that s/he insists s/he doesn't remember even though you know that's bullshit (ever had to do that?), times a few hundred years.

Why do you think this is stupid? :D I'm just bummed that the series and OVA give him such a small role. If there was justice it'd be all Chiaki all the time.

I feel kind of dumb when impelled to say random fangirly things at 2AM, not so much that I think my sentiment of admiration for Chiaki is dumb. He basically said everything I've been dying to say to these characters for months (beginning with "are you clueless because you really are that stupid, or because you just don't want to know?"), though for his part it was obvious that he'd been bottling up the rant for decades. XD;;

I'm sad that they don't keep most of his really good lines from the books, but that can be said of much. >_> Even summarizing doesn't really do because I leave out all the random dorky conversations they have while driving around etc., which is a lot of what builds my affection for these characters and keeps me reading even when I want to beat them.

d00d, you will never catch flak from me for fangirling at two am, since essentially that's what ALL my posts are, fic or not. XD but glad to hear SOMEone in that series has a working brain. after centuries of UST, you start to wonder.
