I sort of wish it had turned up "technological singularity is love", because that would've given me an opening to talk about my Hikaru no Go fic in which the Singularity is brought about by some wacko genius programmer/go player who decides he's going to attain the Hand of God by building the perfect go-playing AI and bootstrapping himself along with (and which I will never write, because like most of my really good HnG fic ideas I'm not knowledgeable enough to think it through). But this is good too, I guess.

Admittedly, that's about the best application of singularity I've heard of. Possibly because it's the only idea I haven't seen *done* yet.

Him was Hop, plain hop in the morning, standing four inches high in one sock. Him was Hopper in slacks, Him was Hoppy at school. Him name is Hopkin Green Frog on the dotted line. But in my hands him was always Hopkin.

Did him have a precursor? Him did, indeed, him did. In point of fact, him might have been no Hopkin at all had I not loved a certain amphibian. In a puddle by the creek. Oh when? About as many years before Hopkin him born as my age was that summer. Him can always count on a murderer for a fancy prose style.

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, exhibit number one is what the froggies, the misinformed, simple, noble-legged froggies, envied. Look at this tangle of thorns.
