More Braindump
Nov. 19th, 2004 08:33 pmNow, for my sins, I sort of want to write a post about Hirakawachi 1cchome, wFL and rockism versus popism - except it would be more like assumptions of the American musical industry/audience versus assumptions of the Japanese musical industry/audience. What stops me is that the people on my flist who know these names are real popists, as opposed to uhh faux-populist intellectual wanktards like me (BY SAYING THIS SHE IS ONLY REDEFINING 'AUTHENTICITY' OH NOES), and thus... would really, really not care.
So, instead, I'll talk about video games.
...I think a boybander breeding sim would be really cool. The boi would hatch out of a sparkly pod, and you'd have to feed it and make it do jazzercises, and expend points on teaching it songs and dance moves. Depending on what skills you give it it will specialize into various classes on maturity. You could even have one that writes its own songs! Then you hook up yours with your friends' and teach them combo moves and give concerts.
(Wow, I bet you're all regretting trying to sl0re me on this stuff now.)
