And now for something completely different:

...which TOTALLY VINDICATES me in my belief that Our Lady of the Harbour in "Suzanne" is the statue of the Virgin on the facade of Notre-Dame de Bonsecours, a ten-minute walk from here. *g* I've always been dead certain of this, but only because the line in the song itself completely and perfectly evokes that spot in the Old Port in my mind. I've never heard anyone else confirm it, let alone the man himself. The rest of the interview is also a great read.

I've got music up, since I haven't posted music for ages; a random selection of favorite songs I think everyone should hear. Blurbs will have to wait until I get home, but if you're on dial-up and want to get a head start on dling, the files are in the Usual Folder.

P.S.: My petronia.net email is on the fritz. This means what it means.

See, that's where a digicam would come in handy. Did you come back on your decision of not purchasing one? [I'd really like to see Shanghai (or Beijing too?) as you'll see it]

What, don't you know what Notre-Dame de Bonsecours looks like? :/

I'll be buying one, yeah. It's mostly a question of time. I haven't even bought my plane ticket yet.
