You're describing your experience seeing 300 on its first run at the local theatre in Park Ex (i.e. Little Greece for non-Montrealers), and the person you're talking to is like "I'm Persian".

...That wasn't me, for the record. And it turned out she liked the movie. I guess there was no way of mistaking the contents of the film for what actually happened at Thermopylae. XD;
