Rather fangirly mood

petroniaHad one of those good downloading days - except for the raw of AniPuri 138, which perversity of the network annoyed me so much that I carried the incomplete file home on my data key and started BitTrickling it over my dial-up line. ^^; Amazingly, it didn't just stall dead like I expected, but it'll still take most of tomorrow at this rate. Not that the kettle needs me to be sitting at the computer watching it boil... Grabbed the new eps of Initial D, couldn't wait for it to be subbed heheheh. Sadly I understand less of it than I do of Samurai Champloo, despite the fact that I've read the manga (but then I just about understand the technicalities in English ^^;). But the Toudoujuku downhill is one of the better Project D races IMO, both in and of itself - strategy of surprise! w00t! - and fangirl factor-wise. Um. XD;; I think the susceptible will know it when they see it, let's put it that way.
(Wasn't there someone I was supposed to copy 4th stage for? Janni? o_O;)
Also watched Kyou Kara Maou 7 and Tenjou Tenge 9 (AOne's subs are back). The commonality between the two is that the plot continues to be surprisingly cogent. One keeps expecting KKM to be as dumb as it continually threatens, and it isn't at all; and whoever wrote the script for TT did a smooth job. Foreshadowing, little character moments inserted here and there, it all makes sense. <3 (Although it's kind of depressing that I know what happens but still manage to be totally surprised by Bunshichi and his water bottle. T_T)
