TeniPuri ep.73-75

So my favorite Prince of Tennis character is Ryouma, right? When I told starlighter that she sort of laughed at me. "But you never write anything about Ryouma!" Which is absolutely true. I don't talk about him either. In fact, unless you were already reading my lj as I was just getting into the manga, I doubt you'd even be aware of the fact. Not sure why this is the case, just that it is.

...I like watching him play, though. Even in the fillers. Perhaps most purely in the fillers due to, well, Tezuka. And Atobe. ^^; And because I go into said matches not knowing what course they run even if I know grosso modo how they end, which does in fact make a difference. Though I should really learn to shut down the part of my brain that whirred away for two episodes trying to model/crack the physics of Tezuka Zone ("but obviously the singularity has to be triggered during a volley, so..."); I get the feeling I'd live longer if I found the on/off switch for it.

And I see the infamous chibi episode is out, which I can't download of course because it's not Saturday. >_> Oh, well. Off to down a bowl of gazpacho, then.

EDIT: ...I can't be bothered to think up a complete quiz, and I'm dismal at other people's as well, so that wasn't a very fun meme for me. XD;; But one question is doable. So out of curiosity: which of the following TeniPuri-fangirlish opinions do I hold?

a) Oshitari is a very bleh character.
b) Kabaji should totally be slashed with Atobe.
c) Ohtori and Shishido's relationship is doomed. Doomed!
d) An is going to end up getting together with Momo.

It's an only-have-fast-connection-and-able-to-run-BT-for-five-hours-on-Saturday thing. ^^; (Workplace B. I'm on a T1 line at Workplace A weekdays but can't run BT.) So if you can upload it on Saturday morning, that... would be great. *sweatdrop!*

Do I not? XD I write/read around Fuji because he's my easiest mental conduit in, seriously. I didn't much care for him at the start of the series, and my change of opinion really revolved around the St.R eps. For that matter I can't even tell how much I like him now; I don't have enough critical distance. Ryouma's a lot easier. I think he's the cutest snarky sullen boy-thing and would totally physically molest him in a platonic older sister sort of way. *sweats*

(It's something along the lines of: Ryouma, Atobe, Fuji, Inui, Tezuka, Jirou, Yuuta, Renji, Momo, NiouandYagyuuandthenitgetsblurry. As you can tell the order in which I like to see characters on-screen bears absolutely no relation to the order in which I tend to write about them, though it's fairly close to how likely I am to read fic about them. ^^;)

Ryoma, eh. Anime!Ryoma is cute in a way that makes me want to tousle his hair and pinch his cheeks; manga!Ryoma just makes me want to kick him and steal his lunchbox. (Of course, Sai holds the opposing viewpoint, so possibly I am just odd. XD;;)

As for the quiz, I know I've seen you mention d) because of the names, but that's it; c) sounds more like Cathy and Bing with their tragically stillborn Hyoutei RPG, so I guess it's either d) or f)? I'll lay my money on f) -- exam instincts kicking in.

Hmm, I'm thinking it's f, because I never recall you saying c, which I think you would have. I recall someone else saying c, but I'm not sure why. But I definitely remember hearing you argue d, but doesn't everyone? I don't recall you saying a), though, unless it was in the context of why Oshitari/Atobe doesn't do it for you, but there are tons of characters people don't talk about.
Anyway, there are tons of characters I never talk about, either. Not really refelctive of hating or loving them.

BTW, the quizzes, actually, are not for the people taking them (I think). It's for the people who make them, to see what their friends really suspect. XD

Some of my best STs are about characters or ships that I don't like, nay I may even dislike/hate them. Such is life, yes?
